It starts along the boards as Tjarnqvist nails Thornton into the boards as Thornton was turning. Thornton quickly returns to his feet and immediately ditches his gloves and hits Tjarnqvist with a left. A large scrum ensues and the players are quickly separated. Other Penalties: Thornton received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct.
