Tkachuk is new in atlanta and he did excattely what should have been done, the fight was excattely what the NHL "defines" as an acceptable fight, some1 protecting the star fowards like chuk and hossa, the 10 minute game misconduct was obsurd, the thrashers scored 6 on the habs w/o tkachuk in the rest of the game. The canadian channel that covered the game didnt replay the fight a single time, it was obvious they were ashamed.

That jackass Bouillon thought it would be a good idea to take out Hossa with a knee-on-knee hit. Moments later, when there was no call, Kovalchuk steps up to him. I'm sure it would've been no problem for him, but Tkachuk decided that his hands were of more use on his stick, and steps in. At the beginning of the fight Tkachuk had his arm caught in his sleeve. Once he finally got his arm free they exchanged a few blows before Tkachuk nearly took off Bouillon's head with a straight right.

I can't believe what this league is coming to when standing up for a team mate gets you thrown out of a game.

Kovie was playing enforcer for a nasty hit on Hoss. KT realizes star wingers aren't proper policemen, comes out and and cleans the ice. Even with his arm caught in his shirt, we was making Bouillon look bad, but the best part was when KT knocked Bouillon out for a ten count.

I'm really disappointed this video isn't available anywhere. Montreal television broadcast it, but for whatever insanely stupid reason, it wasn't picked up locally in Atlanta so there was only one feed.

KT showed why he is a change agent for the Thrashers. He let Kolvy get his words in protecting Hossa, but when the rubber hit the road, KT came in and showed why he is the man.

A new level of grit for the Thrashers to have as a team.

Im a Habs fan and while Im glad Bouillon didnt back down from Tkachuk he is an idiot for kneeing Hossa. He got what he deserved and was lucky Tkachuk didnt get his arm loose earlier than he did.

Tkacuk wasted too much time getting his arm out of the sweater. He could have thrashed ( no pun intended) that guy arm in or out.

What a punch by Tkachuk. Wish I could have understood what the announcers were saying...

A slight size and weight differential, with Tkachuk being 6'2, 220 and Bouillon being 5'9, maybe 190 (Not French, He's from New York). But Tkachuk's south paw caught him on the chin. Good KO.

Tkachuk was calm and strategizing throughout the fight. Francis didnt have a shot. Again these jerseys stink

You are an absolute idiot if you think that Bouilon will come back the next time the Thrashers and Habs play and beat Tkachuk. Bouillon had a cheap shot on Hossa and Tkachuk did what he was supposed to do and stick up for his team mate.

Props to Ilya for trying to get after Bouillon before Keith got to him.

Boston-boy Keith shows he can throw with authority if he needs to.
