2nd Period - 6:36•2001-2002 Regular Season

Off of the faceoff, these two drop the gloves immediately and square off. Brash grabs McCarthy and starts throwing a bunch of lefts, connecting with quite a few. Lots of grappling and Brash gets McCarthy's helmet off and throws some over the top left. Some back and forth inside punches now, hard to tell what's connecting, but each are landing at least a couple, while spinning and grabbing. Some more grappling and McCarthy now gets Brashear's helmet off. McCarthy throws a few weak rights. Brashear then throws some more lefts, with a couple connecting. Some up top, some uppercuts. Some more hugging while McCarthy whacks Brash a couple of times on the head with his hand which looks covered by his elbow pad. Linesmen then come in. Long fight, lasting about 1:20.
