Yesterday the hockey world reacted to hearing about Pat Quinn, who passed away Sunday night at the age of 71.

Quinn played nine seasons in the NHL as a defenseman for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Vancouver Canucks, and Atlanta Flames. He went on to coach for the Philadelphia Flyers, Los Angeles Kings, Canucks, Maple Leafs, and Edmonton Oilers.

Additionally, Quinn coached Team Canada at many levels. His teams earned gold at the 2002 Winter Olympics, 2008 IIHF World U18 Championships, 2009 World Junior Championship, and the 2004 World Cup.
