Stu Grimson Still Remembered as an Original Mighty Duck

Grimson is a popular part of Mighty Ducks lore. He was an original team member, an alternate captain and the enforcer.

“It was a lot of fun. Any time — and this applies to pro sports or any aspect of business — it’s fun to be a part of something new, and that’s what this was,” Grimson said. “We were extremely well-received by this community. It’s a wonderful area to live and a great experience all around. Just a lot of fun.”

Even though Grimson has been gone for a long time, he left a mark on the franchise and was invited back earlier in the season for an alumni celebration.
