As time wound down in the first period of last Thursday's game, Penguins grinder Tanner Glass dumped Devils captain Bryce Salvador in the corner. In a textbook response, Ryane Clowe skated in to stand up for his captain. What followed was a short, but great scrap, featuring a brief toe-to-toe exchange and multiple uppercuts from Clowe.
