Podcast: Bill Lindsay
My guest is long-time Florida Panthers player and broadcaster Bill Lindsay.
Bill started his NHL career with the Quebec Nordiques in 1992. He played for the Panthers during most of the 90s. He then played for the Calgary Flames, San Jose Sharks, Panthers again, Montreal Canadiens, and finished up with the Atlanta Thrashers.
The last two years of his playing career he spent in Germany. Two of his best, according to him.
We spoke about those years, the current state of hockey in southern Florida, why he defends fighting on television, his own memorable fights — losses by the way — and how he wound up with 90 stitches in his hand.
