What’s disgusting about this situation is the way this future officials’ behaviour in the Prust case seems to be so accepted by everyone from the league to the media to the fans based on the fact that such thinking is ‘understandable’ and just ‘human nature.’

But if this kind of thinking does creep into an official’s mind when he’s working a Prust game — and Fraser and virtually everyone else concedes that it will — it’s the integrity of the game which suffers.
