Max Domi Records First Fighting Major

“He saw Bo take a hit along the wall there and as a good teammate, he wanted to step in and make sure that they knew late in the game, you are not taking runs at guys,” Simpson said.

Domi said his decision to fight DiPerna was an easy one, given the situation.

“Obviously, when any of your teammates get hit like that, you are expected to step up and everyone holds each other accountable,” Domi said. “He got hit pretty hard, and I didn’t like it too much. I just stepped in and the rest is history.”
