Matt Kassian Expected Fight to Be Stopped Sooner

Matt Kassian had rage in his eyes and angry words spilling from his mouth after his first period fight with Krys Barch.

He wasn’t so mad with the Florida winger but linesmen Ryan Galloway and Mark Wheeler, who were supposed to stop the tilt before they did. Why?

“His arm came out of the jersey, which happens,” explained Kassian. “It’s also probably the most dangerous time, aside from when guys fall (during a scrap), I think, because you don’t really have a way to protect yourself against it. There’s really nothing you can do in that position. I thought they should have stepped in earlier.”
