MacLean on Boroweicki Hit: “It’s a physical hockey play”

Mark Borowiecki’s hit on Jared Boll already cost him the final 15 minutes of Sunday’s loss.

Whether it will cost the rugged blueliner any more remains to be seen.

“I just thought he hit the guy hard,” said Paul MacLean, describing the play at 5:44 of the third, as Borowiecki threw his body into Boll as he was turning in open ice and reaching for a puck.
