John Scott’s Path to Nowhere

John Scott was traded to the Montreal Canadiens today, most likely ending his future All-Star experience.

The Arizona Coyotes shipped Scott and Victor Bartley off to Montreal in return for Jarred Tinordi and Stefan Fournier.

Instead of discussing captaincy and All-Star Game roster spots, it appears that Scott is being forced out of the game as Montreal has no intention to keep Scott in the NHL.
