IW: Who is Spencer Dillon?

JB: [Laughing] Dude, you’re the best. Who is Spencer Dillon? He’s a guy I fought my first year in Lincoln in the USHL, probably my fourth or fifth fight ever. How do you him?

IW: From what I hear, it didn’t go so well for you?

JB: It’s a funny story. I remember my first few fights before I was doing really good, beating guys up, and thought ‘Well, this is easy.’ So I was thinking I was pretty cool and Spencer was like a no-name guy and he gave me one of the worst beatings still to this day — and I’ve fought a lot. But he taught me to never take guys for granted.
