Jared Boll Looks to Recapture Speed and Lineup Spot

Jared Boll played in 72 of 82 games last season. But nine of those misses were due to being a healthy scratch, including the last five games of the season. It was a rough note to end the year on, and as the resident tough guy, Boll has faced criticism to go along with the pain of his injuries over the past few seasons.

Aaron Portzline spoke with Boll about how he's been reshaping himself and his game.

“It doesn’t matter what role you’re in now, you have to be able to keep up,” Boll said. “As soon as you lose that speed and guys start passing you, you’re not going to be able to play much longer.”
