Jackets and Caps Complete Fight Hat Trick
The Columbus Blue Jackets and Washington Capitals have no history of bad blood between them. No one expected a fight, nor two, going into the game. After last night's hat trick of fights, we might be able to expect more action next time they meet.
Tom Wilson and Dalton Prout got things started as they came together behind the play after an intense board battle. Prout landed several unanswered, crushing right hands that eventually sent Wilson down to the ice in a heap.
On the ensuing faceoff, Jared Boll and Michael Latta added to the intensity by squaring off. Both combatants locked each other out and threw wild right hands before the linesmen stepped in calling an early end to the bout with no real winner decided.
