Georges Laraque Puts Down Luke Gazdic via Twitter

Old Edmonton Oilers’ enforcer Georges Laraque weighs in on Luke Gazdic

One of the reporters covering the Oilers, TSN’s Ryan Rishaug, suggested that Gazdic was better than Georges Laraque, who filled the role for years. Rishaug’s comments were a big enough story on Twitter that Laraque himself weighed in on the young tough guy.

Pretty strong comments from Laraque, not that anyone should be surprised by that. Labeling Gazdic as a middleweight in this context comes off as an insult. Not sure why Big Georges would go that route, but Gazdic is certainly no middleweight.
