Farnham and Leblond Leading the Fight for AHL Wilkes-Barre
Penguins pair not afraid to throw a punch
If Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins wingers Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond and Bobby Farnham aren’t careful, they’re going to get themselves a nickname and a line of officially licensed merchandise.
That’s the kind of thing that tends to happen when two players on the same team are among the league leaders in penalty minutes.
Fans appreciate their work, then marketing departments take note, and before they know it, they’re dubbed the Bruise Brothers or Bash Brothers or something like that. Their likenesses are plastered on T-shirts and lunchboxes and they become a beloved part of a franchise’s history.
“We’re still way behind Dennis Bonvie,” Leblond said with a laugh. “I don’t expect anything to change that.”
