Early Numbers

We’re a couple of weeks into the NHL season now and the numbers look the same as last season, at least the average number of fights.

Fights per game is level with 2013-14. Where things differ are the frequency per game of fights. Only one game has had more than one fight so far (Winnipeg at Los Angeles on Oct. 12th). That means the number of games with fights — or more precisely, a fight — is up, way up, for the moment.
