Dropping The Gloves – Scott’s Thoughts: Milan Lucic vs Austin Watson
Dropping The Gloves with John Scott is the newest member of the hockeyfights.com family. Two episodes have hit the airwaves so far this week (Monday & Wednesday), with a third dropping tomorrow morning across all podcast platforms.
On Friday’s episode, John, and his co-host, Tim, will be joined by former NHL heavyweight and fan favourite George Laraque. If you have any questions you’d like then to ask, let them know on Twitter.
This past week, John and Tim touched on several NHL topics, including where Patrick Kane ranks amongst the greats, how are the San Jose Sharks going to recover, and the Scotiabank North Division.
Today, the inaugural episode of John Scott’s fight review was released. John took a deep dive into the Milan Lucic, and Austin Watson tilt from February 27th at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa. Calgary was in full control with a 2-0 within the first five minutes of the game. Following the second goal, Lucic and Watson dropped the gloves at centre ice. The fight was a mismatch with Lucic having the weight advantage, but John talks about Watson’s strategy and how he defended himself.
