Dropping the Gloves – Scott’s Thoughts: Kurtis Gabriel vs Ryan Reaves

Two brand new episodes of Dropping The Gloves with John Scott have dropped this week.

Episode 214 was released on Monday as John and Tim discussed Tom Wilson’s seven game suspension. John let his opinion be known and ultimately disagreed with the NHL’s decision to suspended Wilson. The two of them also spoke about the late Walter Gretzky and a little on the Toronto Maple Leafs.

In episode 215, which hit the airwaves today, several interesting NHL topics were brought up. John told the audience some hilarious stories from his time with the Chicago Blackhawks, including the time Patrick Kane had him benched for a period. They went in-depth on the Minnesota Wild and their success this season and how they might be the team to avoid playoff time. Finally, John and Tim spoke about a couple of struggling teams in the Buffalo Sabres and the surprising Boston Bruins.

Today, the second episode of Scott’s Thoughts was released as John took a look at the fight between Kurtis Gabriel and Ryan Reaves. Gabriel was a former teammate of John’s, which was mentioned in the show. John spoke about how Gabriel would practice certain styles of fighting during their time in Minnesota.
