Dropping The Gloves Episode 267: Interview with Moritz Seider, Detroit Red Wings
Welcome back to another week of the Dropping The Gloves podcast with John Scott and Tim!
Last week, we ended on a high note after a fantastic interview with former NHL David Backes. If you haven’t check out that episode yet, be sure to do so because it’s one of our favourite interviews.
On today’s show, John and Tim are joined by Detroit Red Wings top prospect Moritz Seider. Seider was Steve Yzerman’s first pick as the Red Wings General Manager going 6th overall in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Since then, he’s been developing his game in the American Hockey League with Grande Rapids and over in Sweden with Rogle BK.
John and Tim spoke to Seider about his whole experience in Detroit so far and what his expectations are for next season. The German native also talked about how excited he was about the Red Wings future and sees plenty of better days ahead.
Additionally, they discussed his transition to the US, the World Championships, and why he wears the number 53.
Check it all out on a brand new episode of Dropping The Gloves with John Scott. Whilst you’re there, leave us a review and let us know what you think of the show.
