Dropping The Gloves Episode 260: Game 1 Recap: The Kucherov Story

Welcome back to another episode of Dropping The Gloves with John Scott and his co-host team.

As we head into game two of the Stanley Cup finals, John and Tim recapped game one of the series, a dominant display from Nikita Kucherov and the Tampa Bay Lightning. But, unfortunately, everything the Habs attempted to do was soon shut down by the more prepared Lightning.

As John had said in episode 259, a significant factor in game one was the play of Kucherov. The former MVP had two goals and three points to take his postseason points total to 30. John said in today’s show that Kucherov leaves him speechless, and I am sure he’s not the only person who thinks that.

The question is now, what do the Canadiens do next? Well, John and Tim discussed all of that and more on today’s episode. John also gave his opinion on one fight he’d love to see.
