Dropping The Gloves Episode 249: We Need to Have a Talk about the Montreal Canadiens

Welcome back to another week of Dropping The Gloves content!

Today, John and Tim released episode 249 of the show and discussed everything going on in the postseason, the recent NHL award nominees, and much more.

The show started in Canada. Montreal has shocked much of the hockey world. First after their comeback win over the Toronto Maple Leafs in round one, and now because they’re up 3-0 over the Winnipeg Jets. John spoke about how great Carey Price has been in this series and what a difference he has made. They discussed the Canadiens veteran fourth line Corey Perry, Eric Staal and Joel Armia and what impact they’ve had on the series.

They then moved onto the Boston and New York series, which has easily been the best of the second round. Taylor Hall’s future was brought up during their chat and what he could do in the offseason. Will he end up back in Boston? Can the Bruins even afford to sign him? Let us know what you think will happen to Hall this summer.

Finally, after discussing the other two series, they closed the show by reviewing the recently announced NHL award nominees.

Episode 249 of Dropping The Gloves is now available on any of your podcast providers.
