Dropping The Gloves Episode 248: An Interview With Ken Reid

On episode 248 of Dropping The Gloves with John Scott, John and Tim were joined by Sportsnet TV anchor Ken Reid.

The three of them started the show discussing the Toronto Maple Leafs. As someone who lives in Toronto, Ken gives the listeners a good insight into how the city has reacted to the Leafs loss, and it’s not good. The big question mark now is what do the Leafs do? John and Tim spoke about that on Wednesday’s episode too. Ken suggested that maybe Morgan Reilly could be the one to move due to his team-friendly contract.

Of course, the big news around the hockey world was the hit that Mark Scheifele laid on Montreal forward Jake Evans. A few hours before recording, Scheifele was handed a four-game suspension. John and Ken had a great discussion on this topic and determined that the suspension should have been less.
