Dropping The Gloves Episode 243: The Perry/Foligno Fight, Kadri Hit, and Series Recap So Far

Enter the long weekend with episode 243 of Dropping The Gloves with John Scott!

In today’s episode, John and his co-host Tim discussed the last couple of days of the Stanley Cup playoffs, including two of the big talking points.

They first covered the devastating John Tavares injury last night in the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens game. Corey Perry’s knee caught Tavares after falling to the ice for those who didn’t see. A complete accident. However, following the injury, Nick Foligno challenge Perry for what had happened. John gave his opinion on this and talked about whether this was part of the “code” or not.

Later on, in the show, the topic of Nazem Kadri was discussed after his nasty hit on St Louis Blues defenceman Justin Faulk. John had a strong opinion on Kadri and believes somebody needs to deal with the Avalanche forward sooner rather than later. They also gave their predictions on home many games Kadri will be suspended.

Throughout the show, John and Tim went around the NHL and gave their takes on each series.
