Dropping The Gloves Episode 242: Interview with James van Riemsdyk, Philadelphia Flyers

John and Tim were joined by Philadelphia Flyers star forward James van Riemsdyk on episode 242 of Dropping The Gloves.

The three of them discussed a variety of topics about van Riemsdyk’s career, from his time in Toronto to the possibility of him becoming a member of the Seattle Kraken.

He wasn’t afraid to talk about the Flyers season either. The Flyers forward explained how COVID had affected the teams season in a way that most wouldn’t have thought about. The team was, of course, disappointed about how the season went as a whole and aren’t using that as an excuse.

The guys went on to talk about his experience with Toronto, and van Riemsdyk expressed great joy for the city. He had some great stories to tell about his former teammates Phil Kessel and Dion Phaneuf too. The former Leaf as game Toronto’s perspective on the Kessel and Scott situation.
