There are plenty of topics to talk about in the NHL right now. However, one stands above the rest.

If you haven’t guessed by this point, episode 238 of Dropping The Gloves was focused on the Tom Wilson incident, which took play on Monday night at Madison Square Garden.

Wilson made a dangerous play by punching Pavel Buchnevich in the back of the head while lying on the ice. He followed that up by ripping Artemi Panarin helmet off them throwing down the ice.

The expectation was that the NHL would throw the book at Wilson. However, that did not happen, and instead, he was handed a $5000 fine.
