Dorsett Glad for Arrival of Prust, But Still Knows Role
If two heads are better than one, then four fists must be better than two, right?
Derek Dorsett thinks so. So does Brandon Prust.
Last season, it was up to Dorsett — all 190 pounds of him — to play the role of Vancouver Canuck heavyweight.
This year, he’ll have some help in Prust, who was acquired in the off-season National Hockey League trade that sent Zack Kassian to the Montreal Canadiens.
The Canucks now have two guys on their roster — actually, probably on the same line — who combined for 33 fighting majors last season.
Only the 19 fighting majors recorded last season by Colorado’s Cody McLeod were more than the 17 registered by Dorsett and the 16 posted by Prust.
There two will surely make late evening games (especially against the Flames), interesting most nights.
