Brandon Prust Done “for Season”
Ben Birnell of the Observer-Dispatch reports that Brandon Prust's season has come to an end.
Prust, who was assigned to Utica in early February, will miss the rest of the season with “ankle discomfort,” the Vancouver Canucks said Thursday morning. Vancouver said the move was a “mutual decision” with the rugged veteran left wing. Vancouver said that Prust will return to his hometown and prepare “for next season” with supervision from the Canucks medical staff.
Prust's contract expires this season. It's interesting that this “mutual decision” was made “for next season.”
