Boston Still Fighting Off Toronto
Tensions were high in the first meeting since the Boston Bruins rallied late against the Toronto Maple Leafs in game 7 of the Conference Finals.
Less than two minutes into the game Adam McQuaid took on Frazer McLaren. McQuaid, only one inch shorter, but significantly lighter, fared well against the Leafs heavyweight in an entertaining, open bout.
Opening the second period the Bruins were up 1-0. Attempting to spark his team, David Clarkson was able to convince Jarome Iginla to drop the gloves. Iginla handled the challenge well in a two-handed scrap.
