Big Time Scrap in Big D

Big Time Scrap in Big D

About five minutes into the second period last night in Dallas, a routine save was made by Dallas netminder Kari Lehtonen. As a scrum ensued Dallas Stars agitator Antoine Roussel and Montreal Canadiens forward Travis Moen broke away from the pile up and had an absolute dandy of a scrap.

The action started fast and furious with right hands from both combatants. Each man, visored, threw caution to the wind with their punches, throwing from over and under, landing viscous shots on their opponent. A brief off-balance/rest period took place before the start of round two when Roussel ripped of Moen's helmet and the bombs continued to fly.

After nearly a minute of exhausting, free-swinging action, both players decided enough was enough and agreed to end things. This one will surely land in the top 10 FOTY.
