all of the FIGHTS from last night – October 19th, 2021

This is more like it, the boys came together with five fights between ten different combatants, for six different teams. I say six different teams, but the expansion Seattle Kraken are rapidly becoming a focus of the NHL’s fists, with three more fights to their total tally of six so far on the season. For you, our valued viewer, each day we have fights aplenty, we will be here for you with our hands outreached, and ready to show you all of the FIGHTS from last night – October 19th:

*Each picture links you to the fight*

NJD/SEA

Michael McLeod (NJD) vs. Brandon Tanev (SEA)

These punchy face Seattle Kraken have themselves a night full of fights. For the most part, their fights have been like AT&T, bad at connections. Tanev went looking for McLeod and Michael has the size advantage, but as mentioned, not a lot of damage done.

Mason Geertsen (NJD) vs. Jeremy Lauzon (SEA)

When I pick the screen grabs for the fights, I try and tell the story of what happens in the fight in one picture. The linesmen blocking out the sun here is pretty consistent with how this fight was snuffed out pretty quickly. The Kraken upset the Devils on this night. The highest rated fight of the game, by far.

Jonas Siegenthaler (NJD) vs. Ryan Donato (SEA)

The final matchup in the game was a quick and missed by the cameras initially. Lots of jawing after a hit by Siegenthaler on the Kraken’s Geekie and then Donato jumps in to defend. Both guys tie up and not much is thrown if anything in this wrestling match.

MIN/WPG

Marcus Foligno (MIN) vs. Brenden Dillon (WPG)

The superman punch attempt was there by Marcus Foligno. Who now finds himself atop the HF fighting majors charts early in the season.

CHI/NYI

Jujhar Khaira (CHI) vs. Matt Martin (NYI)

Matt Martin lays a big hit on the young Mike Hardman and Hardman is shaken up. New Blackhawk, Jujhar Khaira comes to find Martin and tries to respond for his teammate. It does not go great.
