Dropping The Gloves Episode 241: Tim Broke His Leg + Weekend Games Recap
John and Tim are back on your airwaves with episode 241 of Dropping The Gloves after a brief hiatus.
Tim was seriously hurt playing men’s league hockey last week following the Ryan Reaves interview. He explains everything right off the top of the show, and we here at hockeyfights.com wish Tim a speedy and full recovery.
The guys couldn’t have been more perfect after we had some great playoff hockey to talk about over the weekend. They go into each series in-depth and discussed how they think the series will play out and what the losing team needs to do to come back from 1-0 down.
One team John is worried about are the Pittsburgh Penguins. Firstly, John believes the New York Islanders are the biggest threat in the division and will come out victorious. He continued to say how he’s unsure the Penguins come back from this because he believes that was their best performance. His biggest worry is the play of Tristan Jarry, who did not look good in that first game for the Pens.
Another couple of teams having goalie issues are the Bruins and Capitals, who are going head-to-head. A lot is going on in Washington with the COVID issues and now Craig Anderson between the pipes. On the flip side, John isn’t sold on Tukka Rask like most and believes theirs a chance Bruce Cassidy makes a change if the Bruins don’t win game two.
John and Tim touched on plenty of other topics going on in the playoffs right now, and you can listen to them right now on episode 241 of Dropping The Gloves.
