Comments: Jokinen and Richards give each other a few shoves and pokes with the stick while they skate further down ice. The two talk for a little until Jokinen throws a gloved punch at Richards and they drop the gloves. Richards ties up Jokinen and pulls him further down ice. The two end up in front of the Lightning bench and Jokinen has a few words with a couple of players on the bench just before he connects with a right cross. Jokinen throws two more rights and Richards ducks underneath and pushes him up against the bench. Jokinen throws three rabbit punches to the back of Richards head before the linesmen come in.

Comments: The two battle along the boards for the puck just before Eager says something to Janik and proceeds to drop his gloves. Eager throws two rights that hit Janik's helmet and Janik ducks down, shedding his gloves while trying to get loose. Eager throws another right and the two skate into the boards. Janik throws a right, but Eager responds with three more while Janik presses him against the glass. Janik throws a short right and Eager misses with a right before connecting with an uppercut that sends Janik to the ice. Eager throws a right while Janik is falling and then skates away once he sees that his opponent is down. Other Penalties: Eager received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Sarich runs over Patrick Rissmiller along the boards causing Murray to take exception and challenge Sarich behind the play. They drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other with Murray throws three rights and three uppercuts while Sarich tries to get loose and move away from the punches. Murray gets Sarich bent over and hammers him to the ice with six unanswered rights. The linesmen are forced to come in and send the two to their respective sin bins.

Comments: The two drop the gloves and square off in Tampa's zone. Roy throws two quick rights just as he is grabbing ahold of Peters, and Peters comes back with two rights of his own. Roy switches hands and starts pumping away with the left while Peters ducks down and throws two overhand rights. They lose their balance and fall to the ice with Peters throwing two rights on the way down. The linesmen rush in and break it up.

Comments: Behind the play the two drop the gloves and grab ahold of one another with Pratt getting in a couple of early rights. Pratt throws a body shot followed by three more rights while he tries to shake off his elbow pad. Sim tries to duck away from the punches and struggles to get loose. Pratt lands a short right and then wrestles Sim down to his knees. Sim starts to stand back up, but the linesmen are right there to intervene and end it.

Comments: Parros takes a run at Cory Sarich while Sarich plays the puck behind the net, prompting Roy to tap Parros and get his attention. The two have some words and then decide to drop the gloves. After a short square off and some hand signals from the referees, the two grab ahold of each other. Roy throws an overhand right and a straight right while Parros connects with a right to the side of his head. Parros pulls Roy's helmet off and Roy goes down to a knee. Roy stands back up and throws a right to the back of Parros' head before they fall to the ice. The linesmen quickly intervene and send the two on their separate ways.

Comments: Brashear shoves Ryan Craig away during the faceoff, prompting Roy to challenge Brashear shortly after the puck drops. The two drop the gloves and square off at center ice. Roy shoots for Brashear and throws three rights just before switching hands and landing some short lefts to the side of Brashear's helmet. Roy switches back to the right and continues to feed Brashear short punches to the side of the head while mixing in an uppercut during the flurry. Brashear tugs Roy, knocking him off-balance and takes advantage of the situation by landing three rights, the last of them knocking Roy's helmet off. Brashear connects with two quick lefts and they go back and forth with lefts while in tight. They get loose and Brashear throws a right with Roy returning fire with two of his own until he loses his balance and falls to the ice. Brashear gets in a left while he is down, but the linesmen are right there to break things up.

Comments: Right off of the faceoff the two drop the gloves and square off near the side boards. They grab ahold of each other, but Fedoruk loses his balance and falls just as Roy is throwing two rights. The linesmen then quickly jump on top and break things up, sending each one to their respective penalty box.

Comments: Gleason shoves Brad Richards down to the ice while Richards tries to get his stick on the puck. Roy goes over to Gleason in defense of his teammate and they drop the gloves. They grab ahold of each other and Roy throws two rights connecting flush to Gleason's face before he loses his balance and goes down to his knees. This allows Gleason to get in two rights of his own before he slips and falls just as Roy is getting back up to his feet. The linesmen then gradually move in and break things up.

Comments: Roy takes a run at Ivanans along the boards, but misses, prompting Ivanans to take exception and challenge Roy. The two drop the gloves and quickly grab ahold of one another with Roy connecting with a right to start things off. Roy's next three attempts are blocked, but he gets an overhand right just before Ivanans returns fire with a right of his own. Roy throws two more rights and gets Ivanans in a headlock that knocks Ivanans' helmet off. Ivanans gets Roy turned around and throws three rights to the back of his head followed by an uppercut that connects inside. Roy throws three rights to the back of Ivanans' head and they then lose their balance and fall to the ice with the linesmen moving on in shortly after.

Comments: Roy is yapping at Hollweg, trying to get him to fight. Orr comes over and they drop the gloves quickly and square off. They grab onto one another and Orr starts off with a couple of lefts and then switches to the right, getting off a few before they hit the boards. Roy throws a right before Orr lands about three overhand rights. Roy then throws a right which is followed up by a strong right from Orr. Roy gets off another right that's once again countered by a strong Orr right, who then throws couple of more. They each get off another punch before Roy goes for the takedown and the linesmen move in. Other Penalties: Roy received a misconduct; Marek Malik a hooking.

Comments: Hollweg catches Blair Jones with a knee and a scrum ensues. Craig heads for Hollweg and Colton Orr tries to cut him off before he's grabbed by Andre Roy. Roy and Orr are broken up quickly and Craig has a hold of Hollweg. They wrestle a bit before Craig lands a few rights, turning Hollweg, who loses his balance and they both fall to the ice. Craig keeps him pinned until a linesman breaks them up. Other Penalties: Hollweg received a kneeing major and game misconduct; Colton Orr and Andre Roy each received a misconduct.

Comments: Campbell continues to poke away at Marc Denis to try and get the puck loose even though Denis has already covered it under his glove. Craig takes exception and goes after Campbell with the two dropping the gloves and grabbing ahold of each other behind the net. Craig shoves Campbell against the boards and then throws three rights and an uppercut. Campbell returns fire with an uppercut that connects and rattles Craig's helmet. Craig comes back with a right and then two then tumble to the ice. Campbell gets in a couple of rights while they are down, but the linesmen are right there to jump on top of them two and break things up.

Comments: Greene lines up Eric Perrin with an open-ice hit, but Perrin falls down before Greene can get to him, resulting in Greene's knee clipping Perrin. Tarnasky takes exception to the attemped hit and challenges Greene with the two dropping the gloves at the blueline. They grab ahold of each other and Greene throws a right to start things off. Greene nearly loses his balance, but is able to stay on his feet and land a right. Greene a quick right followed by another that is blocked by Tarnasky. They fall to the ice and Tarnasky is quick to get back up to his feet. He throws off his elbow pad, but Greene is able to pick Tarnasky up and slam him down onto the ice. The linesmen then come in and break things up. Other Penalties: Tarnasky received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Vincent Lecavalier buries Frantisek Kaberle into the boards, causing Tanabe and a few other 'Canes to go after him. O'Brien comes to Lecavalier's aide and shoves Tanabe to the ice. Tanabe gets back up and they drop the gloves, squaring off at center ice. They grab ahold of each other and wrestle for a bit. O'Brien throws two rights at the back of Tanabe's helmet while Tanabe tries to push O'Brien into the boards. Tanabe goes down to a knee, allowing O'Brien to take his helmet off. O'Brien then throws three rights to the back of Tanabe's head as well as getting in an uppercut. Tanabe falls to the ice and O'Brien quickly lets go just as the linesmen start to move in.
